Anonymous asked: No no, I completely understand their interraction, and for me personally the only way for me to understand physics concepts is to know how they work actually or theoretically as well as mathematically. What I don't enjoy is the math that currently has no use in what we are doing. Ultimately it will, especially since it is conics. It's really a matter of which subject do I want to do homework in first.

Math always has use, even when you first learn it. Don’t hate the math because you’re too stupid to see its use.

Anonymous asked: Interesting - I'll have to bring that one up, mine isn't currently working, experiencing wicked pain in my joints. The world where I just want to delve into my physics book and just think, and make connections, and ponder the musings of the world, unlike math. Where I have to sit here. In this chair. And memorize. Mindlessly memorize.

I’ve changed medication so much, I’m starting to doubt that any work.

But without math, physics doesn’t work. They are mutually exclusive, the philosophy of physics or concepts mean nothing without the math to back it up. A simple example would be that I know a box takes up a certain space, but I need math to prove how much space it occupies. There’s a reason not many people go into physics because you not only know how or why something works, but you also have to prove it.

Anonymous asked: What are you on? And why don't you like being on it? Conic equations suck, I'll talk to you instead.

Effexor. It’s a very aggressive drug. If I’m off by a couple of hours I get massive headaches and other withdrawals. I’m also not a big fan of artificial stimulation, but at least it’s legitimately medicinal.

In what world do conic equations suck?

Anonymous asked: Are you currently on any antidepressants?

Unfortunately. I would like to be taken off them within the next year; my major source of stress will be gone by then.

Anonymous asked: Are emotions then needed for increased reproductive success?

What preceded this?

From a genetic perspective, no.

From a realistic perspective, they are more important than the parents of the offspring. Success will most likely increase with positive emotions and most likely decrease with negative emotions.
